Abstract


Psychological Foundations of Organizational Effectiveness
Organization’s effectiveness is directly related to its level of reaching the organizational objectives.  Since organizations are social systems composed of people, managers should consider the needs and desires of employees while performing the organizational goals. Meeting employee’s needs at the desired level may cause employees contributing more for the organization to achieve its objectives. In other words, motivation of employees is a leading factor increasing the effectiveness of an organization. For this reason, using a motivation style that is appropriate to the structure of the organization is important to achieve the organizational objectives.
