Abstract


Views of the Teaching Staffs of Music Education Department on the Content of School Instruments Lesson
The aim of the research is to determine the views of the teaching staffs at Music Education Department on the content the School Instruments Lesson. The research group consists of 15 teaching staffs tasked at music education departments from 19 May University, AbantIzzetBaysal University, Uludag University and Marmara University. To analyse all data interview method was used and all data of interview were achieved with the depictive analysis technique. At the end¸ results of the research indicated the teaching staffs proposals is as following; primarily the school instruments lesson is functional, supplementing the traditional instruments to the content of the school instruments lesson is partly convenient, lesson should be exactly compulsory and the duration is to be extended to 4 years. And, the intention of the teaching staffs showed up that the authority is also fully granted to faculty departments. On the other hand they determine that the candidates to music instructor are not good enough in conducting the school instruments comparison to individual ability on own instruments.
